Our office is located inside the Gosnells Community Lotteries House at 2232c Albany Highway Gosnells. We are in the two story brick building near the post office. Entry to WHWS is via Astley Street. Please use the automatic doors opposite the Post Office (if you are at the clock tower you are one the wrong side of the building)
We are in Suite 7 located on level 1. You will need to use the internal stairs or lift (the lift is located behind the stairs). Once on level 1, turn left and we are at the end of the corridor, near the toilets.
Parking is located near the post office off Astley Street. Parking can be problematic – additional parking on Federation Pde or on the vacant block of land off Federation Pde between the library and the doctors surgery (if you reach Coles you have gone too far).
We are a 5 minute walk from the Gosnells Train Station and close to multiple bus stops.

Yes we do offer counselling and therapeutic services.

If you would like to see one of our tertiary qualified counsellors, psychologists or clinical psychologist, please fill in our online referral (which is found on the counselling referral tab) or give us a call.
Please check out the referrals page for information on prices for all our therapeutic services. Payment is due at time of session.
When appointments are booked, the therapist reserves the whole hour especially for you, therefore the following cancellation policy is in place. We require 48 hours’ notice to reschedule or cancel a session.
This policy is in place to allow us to offer the allocated time to another client who may be on a cancellation or waiting list for an appointment.
When 48 hours notification is not given, your missed appointment will be considered a non-attendance and taken from allocated sessions.
To cancel a Monday appointment, please call our office by 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
2 non-attendance can occur per allocated time at WHWS, anything beyond this will remove you as active client.
You may call or email our office at anytime, even after hours, as we do have an answering service that allows you to leave a message. We will return your call or email as soon as possible.
When an appointment has been cancelled within 48hours this is a loss to three people:
The client who is delaying their therapy progress
Another client who is on the waiting list to see the therapist
The therapist who spent time preparing for the session
WHWS encourages you to seek alternative childcare when attending an appointment. You will get the most out of your session if you do not have your child in the session with you, children can not only pick up on your mood and emotions and react to those, there are times where children may hear topics that it would not be appropriate for them to repeat. We understand that at times it can be difficult to organise childcare and if you have no other child minding options then you can speak to your therapist about having a younger child in the room with you. WHWS administration staff are unable to supervise children and WHWS does not take responsibility for children in the waiting room, and children should not be left unattended.

In the event of a lockdown or mandatory mask regulations due to the changing Covid 19 situation, WHWS will conduct all session via telephone or telehealth sessions.
We understand that face to face sessions are ideal, but for your safety and the safety of our therapists, we appreciate you staying home during this time. Communication can actually be better over telehealth phone call or video, as it means no prolonged mask wearing during your session.
When restrictions ease, we can resume in person sessions. Thank you so much for your understanding and flexibility during restrictions.
