Understanding severe period pain can be tricky for everyone. Periods, Pain and Endometriosis (PPEP) talk is here to better equip communities to understand period and pelvic pain. This session provides people with key knowledge to manage their pain, support others and stay involved in important activities.
The PPEP program offers the latest in modern knowledge and the neuroscience of pain. It plays a critical role in informing and educating people to recognise and identify when symptoms are abnormal, simple ways to improve these symptoms, and how to look for further help, allowing them to fulfil their potential.
Lauren completed her undergraduate degree in Medical Science and Postgraduate in Public health where she became passionate about women’s health and health promotion. Being a PPEP Talk clinical educator combines these passions and she loves to help people experiencing period pain, pelvic pain and endometriosis.
