Chronic Illness Information Session - presented by Michelle Greene

Chronic Illness

This free information session on Chronic Illness aims to support those who suffer as well as those who care for someone with an invisible illness. Michelle Greenwood, founder of ‘Invisible Illnesses’ aims to spread awareness and break down the stigma attached to an invisible illness.

An invisible illness is a physical, mental or neurological condition that is not usually visible from the outside. These conditions can limit or challenge a person’s movements, senses, or activities.

Michelle understands what it’s like to feel alone while struggling with an invisible illness and supports not only sufferers but those that support sufferers as well. Her mission is to help facilitate a change in knowledge, understanding and behaviour and to improve pain management and quality of life for people suffering with invisible illnesses.

WHAT’S IN IT FOR ATTENDEES
