The Push Up Challenge

Have you heard about The Push Up Challenge? It is a challenge that runs from the 8th to the 28th of July and it is raising awareness for mental health and raising funds for Headspace. This year I decided to participate in the challenge and it wouldn’t be doing much to raise awareness if I didn’t actually tell people about it.

My Greatest Period Ever – Fringe Show Review

I never thought I could be passionate about periods, but after seeing a hilarious and heartfelt show at this year’s Fringe festival called ‘My Greatest Period Ever’, I’m considering it. Lucy Peach along with her sweetly attentive husband balance witty self-disclosures, songs, stories diagrams and cartoons to tell the epic monthly tale of a period – in a way that has every woman hooting with recognition and relief.

I Lost a Friend to Ovarian Cancer

Last year I lost a dear friend to ovarian cancer. Her name was Tam (but she had changed her name to Ocean Moore-Sparkle, because that’s the kind of amazing woman she was, her maiden name was Moore and she believed there should be more sparkle in everyone’s life!) She was amazing!
