About Us

Women’s Health and Wellbeing Services is a not-for-profit community organisation supporting all women within the South East Metro area of Perth. We promote the overall wellbeing, self esteem, independence, self responsibility and health awareness of women in our community by offering a diverse range of services for women of all ages and lifestyles.

Available Positions

Receptionist

  • First point of contact for clients and tenant’s clients either over the phone, by email or face to face
  • Positively represent GWHS to the stakeholders
  • To provide reception and administrative services to support the operations of the GWHS
  • Part time position Working 8.45am – 4.45pm every Thursday and every second Friday

Office Manager

  • A new role that requires a meticulous, well-organised individual who can demonstrate initiative across all aspects of office administration and who has a strong desire to be a part of a growing company. 
  • This position is Monday – Friday 9am – 2.30pm starting January 2022
  • Full induction and training provided

Health Promotion Officer

  • Identify community needs and develop strategies to meet those needs
  • Develop and implement community awareness & health promotion programs and evaluate the outcomes 
  • Initiate, organise and coordinate a variety of community activities for target groups within an allocated budget
  • Increase community awareness of GWHS services and programs via stalls, information booths etc at various community events

Covid-19 Information

In the event of a lockdown or mandatory mask regulations due to the changing Covid 19 situation, WHWS will conduct all session via telephone or telehealth sessions.

We understand that face to face sessions are ideal, but for your safety and the safety of our therapists, we appreciate you staying home during this time. Communication can actually be better over telehealth phone call or video, as it means no prolonged mask wearing during your session.
