Learn to free yourself from the constant struggle with anxiety so you can spend your time living your life the way you would like to. ACT on Anxiety is a 6 week therapy group that will provide you with skills to understand anxiety, learn new ways of responding to unhelpful thoughts and unpleasant emotions and teach you how to connect with the present moment and take action in line with your values to live a more meaningful life.
WHAT’S IN IT FOR ATTENDEES
This informative series, delivered weekly by a qualified professional who will cover the key aspects of anxiety.
Run via six, two-hour sessions, with a qualified therapist, this course can be run in-person or online. Attendees will gain valuable skills in reducing stress & worry, assisting in rising above your fear and creating a rich and meaningful life.
ABOUT THE FACILITATOR – TRUDY
Trudy has 20 years of experience as a corporate change management consultant where she witnessed first-hand the toll life and work stressors can take on the mind and body. In 2020 Trudy undertook a career change, completing her psychology degree and is currently working towards registration as a psychologist. She facilitates the mental health workshops at WHWS and Elevate, specializing in emotion regulation skills such as managing anxiety and developing self-compassion.
Trudy’s personal mantra is ’that one small change can massively alter the trajectory of your life’.

WHEN: Mondays 9.30am – 11.30am (6 sessions), 20th February- 3rd April (no class 6th March due to public holiday)
VENUE: Group Room (Suite 7, Level 1 Gosnells Community Lotteries House, 2232c Albany Highway Gosnells)
COST: Series of 6 – $90 Concession/$120 non concession per person
In the event of a lockdown or mandatory mask regulations due to the changing Covid 19 situation, WHWS will conduct all session via telephone or telehealth sessions.
